Privacy policy
DemonProxy is the operator of demonproxy.eu, a provider of anonymous Polish mobile and residential proxies. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It sits alongside our No-Logs Policy, which governs how we handle your proxy traffic. Last updated: June 2026.
The controller of your data
DemonProxy
DemonProxy operates the website and service at demonproxy.eu and acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any privacy question or wish to exercise your rights, reach us through in-app support.
What we hold, and why we hold it
We collect the minimum personal data needed to run an account and a paid service — and nothing that describes the contents of your proxy traffic.
Account data
When you register we collect your email address and store a salted, hashed password — never the plaintext password. This data identifies your account and lets you sign in.
Billing data
To provide a paid service we process billing information through third-party payment processors. Those processors handle your payment instrument under their own terms; we retain invoices and the billing records we are legally required to keep, not full card numbers.
Minimal technical logs
We keep a small amount of aggregate operational data — such as total bandwidth, connection counts, and coarse anti-abuse signals — to bill fairly and protect the network. We do not log your proxy traffic content, destinations, or per-request connection records. See the No-Logs Policy for the full traffic stance.
Why we process your data (GDPR)
Under the GDPR we rely on a clear legal basis for each processing purpose.
To provide the service — contract
We process account and usage data to deliver the proxies you subscribe to. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Billing and records — legal obligation
We process billing data to take payment and to meet accounting and tax obligations. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation and performance of contract (Art. 6(1)(b)–(c) GDPR).
Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interests
We process minimal aggregate signals to keep the network secure and to prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the service and other users (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies we use
Essential and session cookies only
We use essential and session cookies needed to sign you in, keep you authenticated, and secure the dashboard. We do not use these pages for third-party advertising trackers. Essential cookies do not require consent because the service cannot function without them.
Who sees your data, and for how long
Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service — principally payment processors and core infrastructure providers — under data-processing terms. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Billing records are kept for the period required by accounting and tax law. Aggregate technical and anti-abuse signals are pruned on a short retention window. Traffic content is never retained at all.
Your rights and how we protect data
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us through in-app support.
Security
We protect your data with hashed credentials, encrypted transport, access controls, and a deliberate policy of not collecting traffic data in the first place — the strongest protection is data we never hold.
